Paige Purvis

Paige grew up in Jackson where, even at a young age, he began developing a strong work ethic and building relationships with people. Throwing an early-morning paper route and moving yards taught him that in order to be successful, you had to put the time and effort into the task, do a quality job, and communicate well with customers.

Paige attended Jackson Prep and subsequently graduated college from Ole Miss in 1992, where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. He obtained a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, worked for 2 years as an Accountant, and then decided to pursue his law degree at Mississippi College School of Law. In 1997, he received his license to practice law in Mississippi but decided to continue his education with a Masters Degree in Tax Law. He was accepted into the University of Florida’s prestigious Masters program, which is continually ranked as one of the top programs in the country, and graduated the following year with an LL.M. in Taxation.

Paige moved back to Jackson and began practicing with the law firm of Butler, Snow, O’Mara, Stevens & Cannada, specializing in estate planning and probate matters. After several years, he joined the law firm of Barnes, Broom, Dallas & McLeod where he continued assisting clients with their estate planning and probate needs, but also began handling real estate transactions.

After gaining valuable experience in the attention to details inherent in estate planning and real estate law, Paige decided to fulfill his dream and open his own law firm in 2004 and concentrate solely on real estate closings. Since 2004, the law firm of Paige L. Purvis, P.A. has served the real estate community of central Mississippi and has been recognized as Outstanding Agent by various title insurance underwriters every year. In 2023, with the addition of his son, Tolar, to the staff, the name of the law firm was changed to Purvis Law Firm and continues to focus on excellent service, unparalleled expertise, and making complex processes easier.

Paige is married to his high school sweetheart, Leslea Wood Purvis of Jackson, and they have two sons, Tolar and Will. They are members of First Baptist Church of Jackson.

In his free time, Paige enjoys attending sporting events in Oxford and music festivals/concerts in various cities.
